Thanks to Animation Contagion for posting it on their blog. A insight into Bill plympton's process, well worth looking at especially beginner animators (skip to video 7 and 8?) - look at just how causally he roughs in those frames and the he says "If I don't like the timing I can just take out frames". I think you can hang yourself out to dry with too much worrying about the process and not about the animation.
